Unstoppable - Film by Abigail Karolewski
For me, filmmaking is all about telling stories that matter. My passion for this came about after taking my first course at Rutgers University for focused on documenting the world around us as films and Podcasting. This led me to create my first documentary about the physical and emotional tolls of a serious gymnastics injury that occurred to me in 2014. Through that experience, I realized the power of visual storytelling and it has been my focus ever since.

The Metal Box - Film by Abigail Karolewski
When I received stock footage from my professor for a Digital Media Production Course, I knew I had to make something amazing out of it. I created an EDL script to accompany the project and show off all of the editing I did. The end result was a fantastic advertisement for a rock climber endorsing sports beanies containing bluetooth headphones and its usefulness for atheltes as a whole. As always, I put my creativity and skills to use in order to create an impactful video.

Barrons Bakery and Coffee House
I am passionate about film editing and production and I have worked on several projects to hone my skills. One of which was a mock advertisement for a bakery in the United Kingdom, which I edited using stock footage. The project was for a Media Production class that focused on the specifics and importance of editing audio and video footage.

Production and Selects - Interview
In this project I interviewed my sister regarding the Covid-19 protocol that was put in place at Hillsborough High School in New Jersey in 2021. This project was assigned to practice with the set up of microphones for interviewing and the technology that is implemented during the professional proccess of interviewing, editing, and use of B-roll.
